Diet for Autistic Children Less Useful
For children with autism is often associated with digestive problems. Children with autism often have practically called leaky gut syndrome 'leaky gut' or 'autistic enterocolitis'. But now researchers say that it is not true. Gluten or casein-free diet will not help children with autism.
In a recent report that appear in the journal Pediatrics, researchers argue that autistic children experience more digestive problems than normal children. Researchers also noted, special diets such as gluten or casein-free diet will not help children with autism.
Special diets in children with autism are considered may relieve symptoms of autistic children. At least 1 in 5 children with autism perform a special diet such as avoiding foods that contain gluten (protein in wheat) or casein (protein found in milk).
Doctors who deal with children with autism that suggests that much of the special diet. But with this study, doctors are advised not to recommend the diet as it can reduce the intake of nutrients for children.
As reported Suntimes, Friday (8/1/2010), a total of 28 experts from 12 disciplines, ranging from a child psychiatrist, an expert in pediatric allergy, gastroenterology and nutrition experts agree that it needs further study to prove the relationship between a troubled digestion with children with autism.

The cause of autism is still ambiguous to date. Some factors that could potentially be causes include genetic factors, leaky gut syndrome, food allergies, vaccines and exposure to toxic chemicals.
Leaky gut syndrome is a term for the changing conditions of the intestinal wall permeability so it can not absorb or penetrated by large molecules such as proteins. If the molecule into the USU, then the body will see it as a foreign substance and will issue the antigen-antibody response.

Autism can happen to almost all walks of ethnic, racial and socioeconomic. Males reported more autism than females with a ratio of 4 to 1.
