iPhone 4.5: Apple Fixes iPhone Antenna Design

Market researchers from IHS iSuppli obtained a sample of the new CDMA iPhone 4 sold through Verizon and discovered that the device is not just a CDMA conversion. It feature several changes that hint to modifications the UMTS/GSM version will receive as well.

Hyundai’s 2011 Equus Sedan to come with a Free iPad

Finally it seems that corporate companies have accepted iPad as a stable platform for integration with their own products.With a price as low as 500$, its no surprise. At the New York Auto Show this week, automaker Hyundai surprised everyone by announcing it’s 2011 Equus sedan will come with a free Apple iPad that will serve as the car’s owners manual. The Ipad will also serve as an entertainment portal in the vehicle and will feature many customized functions.



“The plan is to have a complimentary iPad with each vehicle,” Miles Johnson said, Product Public Relations Manager for Hyundai.The announcement, which is unprecedented in the auto industry, was downplayed in the announcement partly because the iPad has yet to be officially released and Hyundai’s plan is still in the concept stage of development.Hyundai has yet to even decide if the Equus will include a Wi-Fi only or 3G model of the iPad.

“There are several concept applications,” Johnson said. “The owner’s manual would live on the iPad, could be updated easily and display pictures and video as explanations. The online application would be an asset. Owners could use the connection to schedule maintenance, schedule pickup and delivery, things like that.We have an ongoing relationship with Apple to purchase the iPads and create the apps”.

Apps would house the owner’s manual and provide features like maintenance scheduling.Johnson said that more details will be forthcoming as the plan progresses.The Equus itself will be Hyundai’s attempt to “break down the barriers of owning a luxury car” according to the announcement and is expected to sell somewhere in the $50,000 range.

How To Set Proxy Settings On Andriod

If you want to surf the web with a proxy on Android and can’t/don’t want to root your device then Opera Mobile is the solution.
If Opera Mobile is not installed on your phone then go get a copy from the Android Market. Or if you don’t have Internet access on your phone, then download a copy from Opera’s website and transfer it to your phone:


Once you have connected to the Wi-Fi network with the proxy and have Opera Mobile running:

1. Type opera:config into the address bar then enter




2. Scroll down the page until you get to Proxy and click it to display the settings



3. Now Scroll down again until you get to HTTP server and HTTPS server and in these two fields type your proxy information in the format address:port (e.g. my.proxy.com:3128)




4. Scroll down more until you get to Use HTTP and Use HTTPS and tick both boxes then click on save lower down



5. Now close the window and go to any site and the proxy should be working on Opera Mobile, and if your proxy server needs a username and password a popup will tell you to enter them in after you try going to any site

Alternatively, we have another solution to this but this surely requires some expertise.

As there is no UI for proxy settings for android web browser. But the android web browser will read the proxy settings in its settings database.
Here is the instructions to enable the proxy in the android web browser.

This app, nothing more than a ‘glorified screensaver,’ cost $999.99. Once downloaded, a glowing red gem would appear on the screen, followed by the words, “I Am Rich.” Its iTunes description read: “The red icon on your iPhone or iPod Touch always reminds you (and others when you show it to them) that you were able to afford this. It’s a work of art with no hidden function at all.” Eight people actually purchased this functionless app before Apple removed it.

This app simulates a quest for survival when everyone in the schoolyard has been infected by a ‘Zombie Virus.’ The app’s description read: ‘Your local campus has been infected by the Zombie Virus!!! Every one is infected!!! Will you run or will you fight to eliminate all the Zombies… You have the control over the Zombie shooting tower that your supporters have made you. Starting with a single bow and arrow start eliminating the Zombies.’ The app, which was criticized for promoting school violence, was initially approved, then later.

This app featured a photo of a knife and would play the Psycho theme when users simulated a stabbing motion with their phone. It was released just after a wave of teen stabbings in the UK and the app sparked outrage. This app lets you choose one of 18 famous politicians, from Hillary Clinton to Sarah Palin, to bounce off a trampoline–in the Oval Office, no less. The goal is to control the tilt of the phone and bouncing pol to pop balloons floating on the top of the Oval Office with their heads. (The app even includes a pantsless Bill Clinton caricature.) Apple plays it safe when it comes to ‘defemation’ and the App Store didn’t want to take chances.
